The portrait of Sgt. David Fisher, who died while fighting in Iraq, was presented to his family at a ceremony in Latham, New York.
The American Fallen Soldier Project presented the portrait of Sergeant David Fisher of Watervliet to his mother at the Division of Military and Naval Affairs. Fisher was a member of the New York National Guard. He was killed while on patrol in Iraq in December of 2004 when the vehicle he was riding in overturned.
