Friday was a day of remembrance at the Jamaica Armory in Queens, as the wife and children of First Class Sergeant Joseph McKay, who has killed in Afghanistan in 2008, gathered to honor him.
"It's the right thing to do," Taylor said. "I have the ability. God gave me enough talent and enough heart to be able to give back to these incredible heroes and their families, and it's just something I'm inspired to do."
