Geonnotti received the portrait on Jan. 30 from Taylor and his wife, Lisa, who both flew up from Texas for the presentation at the Glassboro Veterans of Foreign Wars Memorial Post 679.
“He was the first one to capture his blue eyes,” Hullihen said abut Taylor’s painting of her cousin. “It kind of took my breath away because I was surprised how much it looked like him. The blue eyes were the icing on the cake almost.”
