Killed when the helicopter he was on crashed in Anbar Province, Iraq. Also killed were PO3 Manuel Ruiz, CPT Jennifer Harris, 1LT Jared Landaker, SGT Travis Pfister, SGT James Tijerina and CPL Thomas Saba.
